Four months after getting away from Today Show, Hoda Kotb holds the door open for a possible meeting with its reverse for a long time, Jenna Bush Hager.
While speaking exclusively to Us Weekly On May 28 during the red carpet for his new well -being company, Joy 101, Kotb said: “I am a person that is never to say. I imagine working with Jenna again one day.”
Kotb and Bush Hager previously cohosted Today with Hoda and Jenna For more than five years, developing a close friendship in the air and off the air.
While we reflect on her link, Kotb added: “She and I said, in secret,” someday. I will see you in a couple of years. “I feel there is something there.”
In addition, the couple met this week in NBC 30 Rockefeller Center, where Kotb visited the set to promote the Joy 101.
It was his first return to Today Since he left in January to concentrate on raising his daughters. The meeting was emotional for both anchors.
Kotb shared: “He felt like returning home in the best way. I still can’t believe what he felt. I think this was the best day in history.”
Bush Hager, now cohosted Today with Jenna and Friends With the rotating guests, it was visibly emotional when he said: “I hoped to cry and I thought a little, ‘Don’t cry, don’t cry.’ But then, what can I do?
In addition, Bush Hager continued: “She is living her dream. I miss her and I am encouraging her in a million different ways.”
Kotb echoed that admiration, saying: “I saw Jenna and I am wonderful. There is no one like her.”
It is worth mentioning that Savannah Guthrie also intervened, calling Kotb a permanent part of the Today family as she told her US“Her living was how she never left. This is home to her. It will always be.”
