In a shocking incident, her own husband gave fire to a woman for prohibiting him from having relations with other women.
Rabia, the victim, was tortured before being soaked with gasoline and lit in the city of Korangi Mehran. Rabia had married Waqas of his own choice two years ago, but his behavior had been problematic since the beginning of his life together.
He often defeated her and tortured her, and maintained relations with other women. On March 14, when Waqas did not return home until late at night, anger, tired of her husband’s behavior and infidelities, called the number of a girl named Amina. Waqas answered the phone and began a verbal attack against rage.
Then he returned home at 11:45 pm, tortured and set fire to his wife, leaving her with 40% burns. When he found, she was urgently taken to the Burns room of the Civil Hospital to receive medical treatment. The police took the victim’s statement in his deathbed.
The case was recorded two days later, on March 16, at the Korangi Industrial Area Police Station, according to the victim’s complaint under a clause to murder. Then, the police delivered the case to the investigation police that arrested the defendant during an operation in Pure Azeem on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the brother of rage, Muhammad Jamal, revealed that Waqas had threatened if the incident was registered, however, he continues to demand justice for his sister.
