- Honor has referred to Samsung in a new promotional image for the Honor 400 series
- Honor 400 is expected to rival the Samsung Galaxy A56
- The Honor 400 series will be announced on May 22
It is always fun to see smartphone manufacturers take toys with each other, and the last decomposition of honor points to his rival Samsung of a lifetime.
In a promotional image that announces the launch date of May 22 for the Honor 400 series, Honor has included a set of clues to excite fans about the most exciting features of the phones. Among these hidden pointers is a message that reads “not the same”, with ‘Sam’ appearing in Bold Blue Letters, clearly a reference to the Honor Competitor.
This is the same honor of fonts used to make fun of Samsung for the supposed lack of innovation of the Galaxy S25 Ultra in January, so the brand clearly has a bee in its hood with Samsung, specifically. The Honor 400 is expected to rival with the Samsung Galaxy A56 of medium rank, so “it is not the same” it could be a reference to the uniqueness of the Honor Telephone, or in fact a direct blow to the recent perceived template of the alignment of affordable smartphones of Samsung.
Spark Daily Wonder With Honor 400 series | Soon 05.22 we have hidden some clues about our next new device in this poster. I quote this post – use of the hashtag #honor400 – with what you think they are to have the opportunity to win a new Honor 400 device.May 7, 2025
Of course, that is a great talk for a company of the size of honor, but the brand’s confidence in its own product could be founded. In a separate teaser image (below), Honor has confirmed that both Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will have an “Ai Ultra Clara” 200MP Chamber, which sounds more than a coincidence for the 50MP main chamber in the Galaxy A56.
The Honor 400 Pro could also have a dedicated teleobjective, with rumors hinting at a 50MP sensor combined with the zoom: the Galaxy A56, meanwhile, has an ultra lens of 12MP and a 5MP macro lens.
We have not heard much more about the next honor rangers, but the aforementioned teaser image suggests that one or both phones will have a single AI software and impressive water resistance.
The launch date of May 22 for Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will arrive a month after the shelves of honor 400 Lite. We describe that economic model as a “solid telephone with some attractive characteristics” in our Honor 400 Lite review, but the upcoming telephones of honor will have their reduced work if they hope to compete with the Galaxy A56, which we praise for being an “impressive Jack-of-Alall-Trades” and one of the best cheap phones.
