Why have you decided to participate in The Celebrity Traitors?
Of all the shows, I feel like being on a show like this was almost made for me. It’s right on my street. The moment the opportunity arose I said yes, 100%.
What are you bringing to the game?
I hope to contribute a different way of thinking. I have experience in games similar to this and this is as big as it gets, really. I think I’ll try to spice it up a bit and bring some sauce to the game. I’ll bring out the vibes, maybe a little chaos, as much as I can.
You have immersed yourself in the world of politics, running for elections and with some success, so you surely have good powers of persuasion. Will we see them used in the game?
I really sold myself as the only honest politician, so I hope to take advantage of that honesty in the game. I’m pretty good at being persuasive, so I hope I can use it safely. Also, sit back and watch, maybe steal other people’s tactics, see where I could manipulate.
Do you have a game plan or strategy?
It’s hard to say beforehand because if you’re a Faithful the game plan is very different than a Traitor’s game plan. I have things planned out in my head, I have a game plan for both of us, but that could completely change.
Who would you prefer: Traitor or Faithful?
I really want to be a traitor. If I were a traitor, I would simply seek chaos. I love chaos and that’s why I love the show. I want to plant seeds in people’s heads, stir the pot.
Are you a competitive person?
Very competitive. Anyone who knows me knows that I am very competitive. I always want to win, so I’ll do whatever it takes to win, but I love it anyway. I love the game, even if I don’t win. I don’t throw tantrums! But I fully commit and play to win.
What do your Beta Squad mates think about you doing this?
Everyone is very excited. They know me, so they know this is literally up my street.
Are you looking forward to the missions and what strengths do you think you could bring to them?
I’m looking forward to them. I’m sure there will be interesting things, they are always super impressive. However, I would say I’m more looking forward to talking to people, having opportunities to observe other players and their behavior, how they take on missions, the psychological side of things and what useful information I can get from that.
Would you say you’re pretty good at reading people?
Yeah, I’d say I’m decent at reading people. I mean, everyone says that, and then on this show, it seems like they’re always miles apart!
Do you have a good poker face?
Yes, but in my job I have to be convincing. I lied to the KKK leader, telling him I was at the BBC. He believed me, so yeah, I have to have a good poker face, especially when I’m in a high-risk situation like that.
Do you think people will distrust you more in the game?
I’m going to be one of the youngest people and I imagine most of them won’t know at all what to expect from me. I can only say that I was that guy who ran for Prime Minister with child’s glasses, and I don’t think they really delved into my content. I feel like you only really understand how my mind works if you watch my content. If you look at it only superficially, it seems stupid. So that’s what I hope, that they underestimate me.
