Why is Rumble banned in Brazil?
In February 2025, a Brazilian Supreme Court confirmed that Rumble would be banned in the South American country for allegedly refusing to comply with court orders.
Among the reasons for the decision was the video-sharing platform that allowed Allan dos Santos, a fugitive from Brazilian law and a strong supporter of controversial former president Jair Bolsonaro, to continue posting on the site.
Rumble said in a statement that it faces “unprecedented censorship in Brazil” and continues to fight the action.
