Jack, now in his mid-30s, works as a surgeon and tries to leave his criminal past behind. However, old ghosts continue to haunt him as he struggles to balance his professional and personal life. The clever trickster In season 2, Jack is pursued by Inspector Boxer, the new law enforcement officer in Port Victory. He cannot meet his love interest, Lady Belle, without risking arrest and execution. Meanwhile, Fagin, his old mentor, returns, hoping to drag Jack back into a dangerous new heist.
The new season also focuses on Lady Belle’s journey as she pursues a career in medicine, something almost unheard of at the time. Viewers can also expect a love triangle in the making, with Inspector Boxer competing for Belle’s attention. Jack now faces some life-changing decisions. Should she abandon her past and commit to a respectable career in medicine, or give in to her old instincts and reunite with Fagin?
