It is a personal preference, but I have always liked laptops with larger screens. That means 16 inches for me, but HP believes that 18 -inch laptops are what professionals should point if they seek to replace their desktop PC and obtain an increase in solid productivity.
Billing as the most powerful 18 -inch mobile workstation in the world, the HP Zbook Fury G1i 18 ā€¯still manages to fit into a 17 -inch backpack.
Those additional 2 inches provide approximately 30% more space to work, which can be useful when handling complex data sets, editing high resolution media or working in multiple windows.
Three fans cooling
HP is launching the laptop into developers and data scientists who need to train and run LLM directly on the machine.
The Fury G1I 18 “is executed in the last Ultra Core de Intel processors, to the high -end core of Ultra 9 285hx, with maximum speeds of 5.5GHz. These chips also include an NPU with up to 13 ia performance tops
There is support for up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 16 TB of storage PCIE GEN5 NVME. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, USB-A ports, an SD and Ethernet card slot.
The 18 -inch screen has a WQXGA resolution (2560×1600), along with a quick 165Hz update speed, which negotiates the pixel density by a softer movement. The thermal yield is managed by a redesigned three channel cooling system, together with HP Vaporforce technology, which allows up to 200 W TDP without strangulation under a sustained load.
Other features include an RGB-backlit keyboard resistant to spills, four poli-study speakers, double matrix microphones and an optional IR camera for the facial login.
The Fury G1I is also available in a 16 -inch model for anyone who feels 18 inches is too large to load. Price and availability details for both models are expected shortly.
