- Huawei has joked a new folding phone with a smaller internal screen

During the past year, we have heard a lot about the long -standing folding iPhone, but at the time of writing we are still without official confirmation or Apple announcement.
Despite this, it seems that rumors alone have inspired a company to produce a folding phone inspired by Apple, although getting one is an unlikely result.
Huawei recently launched a teaser on Weibo in which CEO Richard Yu is ‘trapped’ with a new device that looks very similar to the iPad Mini, although with a selfie camera of holes integrated on the screen.
The new Huawei device, which GSMARENA points out can fall into the brands of Pura or Pocket of the brand, is remarkably smaller than an iPad Mini, but can present an illegal occupants screen than a conventional folding phone.
As Innogyan reports, the recent teasers of Huawei have incorporated the motto “1610 opens their imagination [sic]”, Which could suggest a 16:10 portable -style aspect ratio.
This could be an answer to rumors that Apple is aimed at a mini iPad -type factor for its first folding device, instead of a phone that resembles the iPhone 17 when it unfolds.

Although these are only rumors for now, it seems that Huawei is eager to get ahead of the game in his local China market.
And although the phone in the new Huawei teaser may seem small, a 16:10 8 -inch screen would only measure about 4 inches wide when it is kept vertically, which could be adapted to the profile of the device shown.
Huawei is prohibited from doing business in the US place.
