Hulk Hogan funeral held in Florida after the wrestling icon dies at 71

On Tuesday night a private funeral was held for Hulk Hogan, where dozens met at the Indian Rocks Church in Florida to celebrate the life of the wrestling icon.

Hogan died last month at 71 years after suffering a heart attack on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, according to Pinella County’s forensic doctor. It had a story of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes irregular and fast heart rate.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was baptized in the Indian Rocks church in 2023, and was buried there surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.

The WWE icons such as Paul “Triple H” mild and the former WWE co-cement, Stephanie McMahon, were among those who attended the service. Other celebrities were seen, including Kid Rock, Bam Margera and more.

The service had a strong police presence, since the long officers and church security were patrolling the K-9 dogs. Reading signs, “Private event”, were on the doors.

For those who could not attend, such as President Donald Trump, they presented their respects for social networks.

“They are having the funeral ‘of Hulkster’ today, and I thought everyone would enjoy seeing this image,” Trump wrote in Truth Social with an image of him and Hogan Arm Wrestling.

Governor Ron Desantis also ordered the flags to fly to the personal environment last Friday, declaring him “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida.”

“He was a true Floridian from beginning to end,” Desantis wrote in a statement about the statement.

Sky Daily Hogan shared in an emotional publication of social networks that her husband had been “dealing with some health problems, but I really thought we would overcome them.”

“He had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” Daily Hogan wrote.

The greatest personality that Hogan’s life was seen inside and outside the wrestling ring. It was the main tie of the first Wrestlemania in 1985 and was a cornerstone of the entertainment giant that continues to bloom today.

“I am very grateful to have known his real version,” Brooke Bollea Oleksy wrote, Hogan’s daughter, on social networks. “Not only the one that the world saw through a carefully selected lens.”

Hogan’s son, Nick, added in his own social publication: “Thank you for being the best father in the world and thanks for being my best friend. I love you a lot of big dog and I will miss you forever.”
