- First images of the rumored surface of Hasselblad X2D 100c II
- The filtered specifications suggest a new Lidar Auto Automatic Focus System
- The application of the FCC reveals more details, including refined controls
If the money was not an object, the impressive Hasselblad X2D 100C would probably be my first camera option for photography. The minimalist appearance of the camera, the handling and quality of the 100MP image of 100MP are the upper drawer.
However, it is far from the perfect camera. I do not care that it is a camera just for photography (it is true, there are no video recording capabilities at all). But what spoiled my experience was his slow automatic approach performance during the tests, an inconvenience that could be addressed with his next rumored successor.
Mirrorlessrumors has marked a FCC application for a Hasselblad X2D 100c II, which not only contains the first adequate images of the second generation model, but also describes several new features. The main one is the automatic Lidar approach.
If a next Hasselblad X2D 100C II autofocus won Lidar, it would represent the first significant update by courtesy of DJI since the Chinese technology giant and the main drone manufacturer acquired Hasselblad, and could not have chosen a better update.
Catch up on
I love the image quality of the X2D 100C II, so much that it puts my Nikon camera full frame in the shade. However, unlike my humble Z6 II, I could not trust his automatic approach for an acute approach where he loved him, like a person’s eyes in a portrait.
Yes, the improved automatic approach heads my list of wishes for update x2d 100c II, and the promise of an expensive automatic lidar approach, which uses Ronin 4D of DJI and presumably will offer a great boost in the performance of the automatic approach, is exciting news.
In other places, the new images reveal a new Joystick control and a refined buttons design, while SSD’s internal storage could be up to 1 TB, along with a CFEXPRESS B card slot B.
Otherwise, I do not expect many other significant improvements, many were not needed: the X2D 100C II will apparently have the same 100MP sensor of the same or similar with the stabilization of image in the 8EV body of the class leader of the class, the color depth of 16 bits and the dynamic range of 15 tracks, for probably the best photographic quality that it can obtain on the affordable side of $ 10k / £ 10k.
Depending on how you see it, the rumored x2d 100c II is a minor update of the X2D 100c. But for me, it seems that my “if I had a wish.” How does the rumored x2d 100c II sound? Avise me in the comments below.
