Apple TV+ has announced a new series of Breaking Bad Creator Vince Gilligan, but we know almost nothing about it. Then Logic tells me that I will hear from the mysterious voice of multibus at some point in the future. What he will say, I don’t know. When I arrive, I can’t say. Who is Carol? Maybe I never discover it. Maybe she never returned the number. Maybe I am Carol and my parents read my birth certificate badly.
Currently, the only clue of what is happening on Earth is the title itself. ‘Pluribus’ is a Latin word that means ‘many’ or ‘more’. It is used more in the phrase ‘e pluribus unum’, which translates into ‘of many, one’. If we apply this to what we have seen, Carol is ours … but one of what, we have no idea.
I bet on any money that Apple TV+ and Gilligan are going to get this marketing campaign as much as they can. Clearly, I will receive part of it directly to me, and I am not sure whether to laugh or cry in advance.
