I can finally make my Series X UI bright pink after the new Xbox dashboard update

Microsoft has announced some big changes to its Xbox consoles, with the rollout starting today for Xbox Insiders before rolling out to all players at a later date. This includes some of the biggest changes to the consoles’ UI in years, many of which improve customization and ease of use.

Many fans will be pleased to know that the ability to create up to 10 groups has been added to the start menu, compared to just two before, so you can sort your games more effectively.

Now you can also finally set a custom color for the interface, instead of having to choose from the existing list of selected options. If you want your entire Xbox to be neon pink (or really any color you can think of), you can do so through a new set of sliders.

The Quick Resume feature, which helps games you’ve previously played start faster, is also being tweaked. From now on, you’ll be able to turn it off per game, which is surprisingly useful since some titles, particularly live service games like fortniteIn my experience, it doesn’t work with Quick Resume as well as others.
