Paramount Plus has a great true crime and after seeing the new trailer to Happy face You have the potential to add another to our list of the best shows of Paramount Plus. I am very excited to transmit this series, especially because the talented Dennis Quaid has in the titular role of Happy Face Killer. We saw it recently in The substancethat we crown the best horror of the body of 2024, and recently we were nominated for the best 2025 film, so we know it has a special ability to play a more spooky role.
While the men of real life in powerful positions inspired their performance in The substanceThis time, Quaid is entering the place of a very specific person: Keith Hunter Jesperson, a serial killer who became known for sending letters with smiling faces to the authorities, hence his name. The series follows his crimes and his daughter, Melissa, who ended up trapped in the midst of everything.

Annaleight Ashford stars alongside Dennis Quaid as Melissa Moore, the daughter of the murderer, so the series will focus mainly on these two roles. The inspiration of the series wine from the podcast IHeartpodcasts True-Crime Happy face By Moore, as well as his autobiography Silence shatteredco -written with M. Bridget Cook. So much of this comes from the material that she produced, giving viewers a first -hand look at what happened.
