- Oscar Nuñez will repeat his beloved The office paper in the new Peacock series
- The series still has no name
- It is believed that producers wanted to keep Nuñez’s appearance as a surprise, but leaked
The office It was an absolute master class of comedy, and I consider it one of my favorite programs. I admit that I felt a little worried when I discovered that I was receiving a Peacock spin-off program, but, again, it cannot be as bad as the disastrous attempt at the main video of The office, good? Anyway, my interest in the new series has been awakened because it has just been revealed that Oscar Nuñez will repeat his role as Oscar Martínez, and I am very excited to see that character again.
When it comes to Oscar’s return, we know that he will not be the central character, so he does not expect any peak of Michael Scott, we will see someone new in that role. Unfortunately, if you expected to see people like PAM, Jim and Dwight, it seems that Oscar is the only one who returns to the office, and will join a new line of actors. As we understand, this spin-off is established in the Office Universe, but it is not a direct sequel.
According to Variety, producer Greg Daniels felt that “he told a complete story for most of the characters, but if there were a character that would like to visit and explore again, it would be Oscar.
Variety added: “It is believed that the producers hoped to maintain Nuñez’s participation as a surprise, but the news leaked for the first time on Wednesday through the Bulletin The Insneider.”
What do we know about the spin-off of the Peacock office?
Right now, we don’t know much! It does not even have a name and is currently known as the ‘Daniels/Korman project without title’ (referring to the two Greg Daniels and Michael Korman producers). However, I hope we start seeing more details in the coming months, since I am curious about this.
However, we have a loose plot, which we will follow to the staff of a dying newspaper of the west medium whose editor is trying to relive it with volunteer reporters. So, although it is not Dunder Mfflin, we still have the paper connection, and it will be established as a documentary using the same team that filmed The office. So, this could explain why Oscar has been found here, whether he is working for the new company or simply has experience as a documentary issue.
