- A remaster of the elderly scrolls 4: oblivion seems imminent
- Screen catches have been obtained from the Virtuos developer website
- Could be launched with a luxury edition as soon as next week
For me, the most important news of the week is nothing related to Nintendo, or even the new respawn Star Wars game. No, it is the notion that the rumor The biggest scrolls 4: oblivion Remaster can actually be completely real.
The potential images of Reaster have appeared in the Forgot Subnetdit, from the Virtuos developer website. And even more images, including comparison shots with the original game and one that shows a luxury edition, have been collected in an Imgur publication.
What is more, as reported by Eurogamer, the alleged Remaster could be launched as soon as next week (probably from April 21 to 25) for the Xbox X series | S, PS5, PC and Xbox Game Pass. If this is really true, it means that once again I will have to clear Baldur Puerta 3 Back to the bottom mines despite receiving their mass final patch, because Forgot It is one of my favorite games of all time.

We have been listening to a potential Forgot Remaster since 2023, in the days of the FTC case against Microsoft Court. But still, I can’t shake the feeling that a fall in the shadow next week seems a bit strange.
Microsoft has announced its next Xbox Games showcase for June 8, just at the time of the summer game. I think it would probably make more sense to reveal the Forgot Remaster there. But well, if this is not an elaborate hoax and in fact it will arrive next week, I will certainly not complain.
Why forget?
Forgot It could be the most divisive entry into The elderly scrolls franchise. It was an amazing showcase for 2006 and certainly helped change many Xbox 360. But, frankly, the game is the definition of the textbook of ‘jank’.
Whether they are characters that are not players (NPC) talk about gallimaties absolutely with each other, voice actors changing between the lines of the same character, a broken leveling system or its horrible inhabitants of Play-Doh-Esque, Forgot The very damn nature is typically what people remember with love of the game.
You can often feel like a strange fever dream when witnessing the world of Cyrodiil and its characters behave more and more strangely. All backed by Jeremy Soule’s legendary soundtrack, Forgot It is a game that definitely has more than a few loose screws, but I will be convicted if it has no heart.
With luck, that charm will not be lost in a polished remaster with more modern images and diverse updates of quality of life. But still, if all this turns out to be an elaborate hoax, pretend that I said nothing.
