I had the opportunity to see Dreame’s new robot vacuum cleaner, DREAME X50 Ultra Complete, in Action. With its avant -garde characteristics, this brand is the one you must see. In fact, I could even change my current Bot Bot brand, Roborock.
We saw many stunning robots vacuum in innovations in CES 2025 in January, but the X50 Ultra Complete has as many … well, a complete set of functions that I have seen.
The most prominent headline feature is that it has small mechanical legs. These raise the bot and help to move away on high thresholds at home. This ‘proleap system’ means that the X50 ultra can address the steps up to 4.2 cm high in a single limit or up to 6 cm high in two. In action, it resembles the ritual of an exotic bird. It is really quite majestic.

A little less elegant is the descent of the bot with the steps. There is a “shock absorption system” designed to soften collisions and absorb the sound, as well as a small wheel in the front that means that the X50 is not a face plantation, but it is still reduced a little more than a hit that I expected or I feel completely comfortable.

However, beyond those little feet, there is more to presume. It also has a navigation disk that can appear up and down (a feature that appears in one of the newest roborock bots). That allows you to use lidar navigation without permanently raising the height of the bot.
With the retracted album, the height of the robot vacuum company measures only 8.9 cm high, shallow enough so that it can be slipped under low seat furniture, where dust and hair could accumulate differently. Then it will appear again when the space allows it.

Those are two innovations of 2025, but there are more characteristics that have appeared in the previous dreams, including the vacuum cleaner DREame L40 Ultra Robot of 2024 and the Ultra Dreame X40 Ultra Complete robovac, and helps to complete what is an extremely capable configuration.
For example, rotating MOP pads bind with magnets, which means that the X50 Ultra Complete can leave them at its base when they are not required and then return to collect them again as necessary, without not required manual intervention.
That means that there is absolutely no danger that wet traperation pads crawl over their carpets (the rapping pads can also raise to avoid this, but it is not a fault approach if it has thick carpets, for example).
To ensure that the edges of the rooms are not lost, the dreame x50 not only has an extended side brush to sweep the rubble on the robot suction route (quite common in the premium bots), but also a clumping pad that can Go aside.
I saw the Dreame X50 Ultra, along with the other products of the brand, in the great inauguration of its first flagship store in Birmingham, the United Kingdom, a “significant milestone” in the expansion of the brand in the United Kingdom.
We are in the process of trying the Dreame X50 Ultra and we will inform if it is as good as it seems. It will go on sale in the United Kingdom as of February 7 at a list price of £ 1,299. It will be available to buy directly from Dreame (in the store and online), as well as through Amazon.
