The Microsoft integration of the OPENAI O1 model in Copilot last week brought the “deepest Think” function to all users. Think deeper Houses Openai’s O1, a reasoning model capable of some rather good reasoning capabilities and complex ideas, despite taking more time than a regular AI model to respond. Openai launched O1 as part of Chatgpt last year, but this integration of co -drivers spells the first time you can access the model for a prolonged period at no additional cost.
You can activate the O1 model by clicking on the deepest THINK button before sending the application. As for why it is possible to use deeper Think, well, it gives access to the complex reasoning and search that OPENAI’s O1 model is capable of doing, and also offers huge improvements in terms of memory. When standard co -pilot models tend to quickly forget, the deepest Think mode monitors what you request and the context throughout its conversation.
INTERIOR DESIGN OF IA
To put the model to the test, I began with a somewhat direct request that had some wrinkles. I asked: “I want to renew my little bedroom with a budget of $ 500. Can you suggest profitable ways to improve your appearance and functionality?”
The AI returned not only with a budget breakdown for different ideas, but also detailed suggestions of colors of painting, lighting, furniture and personal items. He even offered ideas for no cost such as aromas and sounds before limiting with questions to consider, a bit of philosophy and an inspiring anecdote Frank Lloyd Wright.
Travel time
For my next consultation, I was a bit broader and more complex, asking Co -ilot: “I am planning a 5 -day trip to London with a budget of $ 2,500. Can you help me plan an itinerary that includes essential attractions, affordable accommodation? And transport advice?
The answer was very similar to talk to a travel agent, one who wanted to “create a trip where every moment would immerse him in the moments of this vibrant city, everything while keeping his wallet happy.” The AI then established a complete itinerary, with each day its own theme, such as “The Royal Welcome” and “East London’s Edge”. Each one had assigned the day with things to do, their prices, ideas about where to eat and stay, and approximate costs. If I were planning that trip as the first intensive to London, I might think much worse as a scheme to use before I left.
In particular, as with the redecoration application, the co -pilot became very philosophical again at the end, maintaining the theme of the travel agent when reminding me that “traveling is more than marking reference points; it is about the moments that resonate with Your own trip.
Playing Cupid
For my last experiment, I was as simple as possible and asked Copilot to describe a first perfect date. As you can see before, the answer is written in a very human style. In particular, the AI recalled my previous mention of DIY projects at home and decided to incorporate them into all ideas dated. If these would be really good first quotes, it is debatable, but at least the AI is paying attention and remembering our previous chat.
The co -pilot without the O1 model is definitely faster but generally less deep too. That is ideal for simple tasks, but it can mean that there is the need for many manual adjustments. The co -pilot with O1 is smarter, more reflective and much better to maintain the context, but sometimes it is lost in its own brilliance. That said, he feels more like a real -AI collaborator. So, if you need deep ideas with AI, ask Copilot to think that deep is a great idea. You simply do not use it when you are in a hurry, because in those circumstances, a brilliant thinker is not ideal.
