- Dream Machine de Luma Labs can now add audio to video clips for free
- You can indicate the audio or let the AI come up with something that decides that it is appropriate
- Sora and other Video creators of AI lack an audio creator of the imperfect to go with their images
Luma Labs has added a score to the videos of AI produced on its Dream Machine platform. The new feature brings audio to its video, a personalized generated to match a message written or created by AI, and is based solely on what is happening in the video. That could mean singing birds in the dawn scene, the buzz distant from a spaceship for science fiction animation, the chaotic noise of occupied coffee or anything else that matters to listen to.
The new feature is free in beta for all users. After generating a video with Dream Machine, you will see a new “audio” button along the row at the bottom of the video next to the existing “extend” buttons and “improve”. Click on it, and get two options: let it decide the most suitable sounds on their own, or take the wheel and provide a text message that describes exactly what you want. Maybe you have a dreamy scene and want to listen to a distant waterfall, or you may want to hear how AI does; Anyway, it works.

Solid idea
This update is large because the videos generated by AI, although sometimes visually impressive, have always felt incomplete without sound. It is a lot of work thoroughly audio yourself. Even some of the most important names in AI Video still have no audio as an option, including Operai Sora.
Of course, the generation of the sound of itself is not unique. There are many AI music manufacturers, even voice producers and complete songs. But, the production within the platform linked to the video already makes Dream Machine a true prominent. That said, it is not perfect. You can see because of the way the movement and sound do not match this dog as long as nothing.
On the other hand, when requested correctly, this fire and laughter of the people around it sounds quite well.
But I wouldn’t trust Dream Machine to create sound alone without any orientation in a warning. With a blank audio notice, the AI took the same short clip of people around a fire and came up with something much more creepy.
