Iconic Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry reveals why she never had children

The famous Hollywood singer and actress, Debbie Harry, has revealed the reason why she never had children.

talking to The Sunday Times, Harry is right that she never wanted to start a family.

The iconic Blondie frontwoman told the outlet that she “wanted to go out into the world. Maybe if I had been madly in love I would have settled down, but it wasn’t like that for me. I had ambition.”

Harry, who had a long-term relationship with Blondie co-founder Chris Stein in the 1970s and 1980s, said: “[My parents] They were proud that they had accomplished something because they just thought he was a drug addict. Turns out I was a drug addict, but I also made music, so I was fine. “I think they would be happy with the way my life turned out.”

Additionally, Harry also shared that he now has no nerves when performing, crediting his years of experience.

“Yes. I no longer have nerves. Experience is the key. Not everything has been luck, but I feel that the fickle finger of destiny has treated me very generously and I am happier than before.” “I tried really hard to do something and I achieved it, and having some success is a fantastic elixir,” he said.

It’s worth mentioning that Blondie, who sold more than 40 million records during their peak, reunited in 1997 after disbanding in 1982.
