This week was full of important ads. Google showed the (potentially) iPhone 16E beating Google Pixel 9a, we checked Assassin’s Creed Shadow and loved him, and Nvidia showed a real Drug of Star Wars in real life.
To catch up with all that and more, you can move down to see the seven largest technological news of the week that you don’t want to have lost.
Once you are up to date, see our selections for the 7 new films and television programs to broadcast this weekend (March 22).
1. The coverage of Google Pixel 9a broke
Google removed the covers of Pixel 9a this week, finally giving us an official look at its last budget telephone. In a fast look, it will probably not notice a lot of difference with respect to Pixel 8a, but look more closely, and there are some ordered changes.
To begin with, the phone design has changed with more flat sides and a larger screen, which is also brighter, along with a configuration of the rear camera that avoids the design in the form of pixel 9 pill and applies to the modules that feel more shameless with the rear of the phone.
Under the hood, you will find the G4 tensioner chip designed by Google ready to feed many Google Gemini activities and generative tools of AI. There is also a larger battery. All this has the same price as the Pixel 9A predecessor, but there is a slight warning in which Google has delayed the release of the phone until at some point in April due to a mysterious “quality problem of the components.”
2. We find the droid that we have been looking for

Attend
Star Wars drugs have just approached reality in the GTC 2025 Nvidia key note when Blue joined Jenson Huang on stage to show the new Newton engine of the company. The robot delimited the stage after attendees saw a simulated version of the droide digitally explore the surface of a sandy planet, far away.
This virtual panorama is what Newton is about. Instead of needing to really build a robot and real environments with a wide range of surface designs and materials to train your robot, with Newton, you can build everything digitally, execute the simulation and the AI will gradually learn how to navigate. Once you have trained the model virtually, you can load that data to a real version of the robot, and like neo training in Matrix Blue, other bots instantly become experts.
During the key note, Huang also showed a lot of new hardware to develop AI, more humanoid robots and autonomous vehicle technology.
3. Pebble returned with two new smart watches
It is a great week for the Fans of the Gadgets Retro, since the new basic devices company of the founder of Pebble, Eric Migicovsky, presented two new smart watches that execute the open source pebble operating system. The Core 2 Duo is a low -power smart watch with four buttons, some basic functionalities, a black and white MIP screen and access to the 10,000 third -party applications pebble suite.
The second clock, the Core Time 2, is a larger updated version with a color touch screen and a heart rate monitor. Crucially, both watches last up to 30 days, an impressive 40 times the battery life of its average Apple Watch.
While both are limited races, Migicovsky said “will do more” if they do well. Available for pre-pedd now, both devices will be launched in July.
4. We check the LG C5 OLED TV
We have our hands on one of the most anticipated televisions of 2025, the LG C5 OLED TV. The last iteration in the always popular LG C-series, we spent a week with the C5 and Spoiler alert; It is fantastic.
By winning five five -star in our review, we loved the impressive image quality of the LG C5, the excellent performance of the games, the complete set of game functions and the intelligent intuitive television platform with some new useful tools. Even its incorporated sound was solid!
To board the elephant in the room, no, it is not so different from its predecessor, the LG C4, and although that is close, the C5 seems expensive. But, when the C4 time is over, the C5 is a fantastic replacement and is already ready to be one of the best televisions of 2025.
5. Deep research was free to use
Deep research is the research assistant with Google Gemini. Instead of the usual search and response of the standard chatbot model, using deep research, Gemini creates a full report on what you have asked, including quotes from sources that analyzes.
It works better if you throw really fleshy questions that need it to consult multiple sources, such as “What percentage of dogs in the United States are puppies?”, For example. He occurs to him a plan for the research that he will undertake, which he can edit, and then produces his report. Gemini may take a few minutes to build a deep research report, but when he does, he obtains a document that can open on Google Docs that covers the topic conclusively.
Best of all, deep research is now free for all Gemini users.
6. Assassin’s Creed came out of the shadows
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available and is immediately one of our favorites throughout the series. Offering the best open world role play in that line of creed games, Darkness I look good and it’s not bad. And I should know, after having spent more than 40 hours in the game now.
An important part of the success of the game is the implementation and execution of some of the best fighting in the series. Both protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, offer different combat styles and a unique range of weapons they can use, but each can participate in a seriously fluid, thick and forceful fight. Whether you are cutting the enemies with small blades like Naoe, or breaking them on the place with a Kanobo like Yusuke, the combat is Darkness It is excellent.
Ubisoft Quebec has also rethink world exploration and discovery with Darkness and implemented a much more rewarding and satisfactory method of doing so. Instead of views that reveal a sea of entities known in the landscape for you, Darkness It only gives you some points of interest and locations: without marking, so you must go to discover what they are. The results are a method to explore the world that feels gratifying to explore and take it from location to place, landscape to landscape and region to region.
And while the main story decreases a bit, and the hiding way that offers the cozy base builders a bit can be a drainage, there are only so Much to do in Darkness‘Feudal Japan Splite that I will spend dozens more than hours collecting tea games, paint wildlife, meditate, learn new combos, carry out contracts and kill bad guys.
7. LEGO AND POKÉMON BREATED INTERNET
Lego and Pokémon broke the Internet this week when everyone’s favorite plastic bricks announced an association with the world’s most valuable media franchise. For years, we expect a Pikachu collaboration with Lego, and now our dreams seem to become a reality.
In 2026, perfectly timed with the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, you can go to “A Real Lego® Pokémon ™ Adventure”. While we do not know what sets of Lego will be available, the advance of Pikachu’s tail exhibited Pikachu’s tail, so Pokémon’s pet is almost a certainty.
We would not surprise us to see regular releases celebrating the extensive Pokémon library; After all, there are now more than 1,000 species dating from 1996. With generation 10 on the horizon and the new Nintendo Switch video games that will be launched this year, it is definitely an exciting time to be a Pokémon fan.
