MWC not only excited us with a lot of excellent technological releases and designs of innovative concepts, but Apple gave us new iPads and Macbooks, and AMD captivated us with an affordable GPU.
To catch up with all this and more move down for the seven largest news of the week for the week of March 8, 2025.
When it is finished, see our selections for the 7 new films and television programs to broadcast this weekend (March 7).
7. We find the best MWC 2025 technology
The Mobile World Conference this year (MWC 2025) was host of many smartphones, computer scientists, audio and health technology, and we know it because we attend the program to verify everything. But among the crowds there were some diamonds that we decided that they were the best devices of the event.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was the best release of the phone with our Xiaomi 15 Ultra review by calling it one of the best camera phones ever made thanks to its 4x telego lenses of 50 megapixels of great angle, 3x 3x and 3x-telephoto 4x 4x; Meanwhile, the Solar PC Lenovo Yoga won the best portable computer due to its built -in solar panel innovation.
We also award awards to intelligent contact lenses of Xpanceo, Honor’s Aurbuds Open, Honor’s Watch 5 Ultra and Zte Nubia Flip 2 5G to appoint only some of our 10 Total Awards winners.
6. Apple invited us to a cheaper macbook air
The arrival of a new MacBook Air M4 this week was not exactly a surprise, given the weeks of leaks, but its price certainly was. Yes, despite obtaining an update of the processor, two new Thunderbolt 4 ports and some new central camera tricks on the stage, Apple reduced $ 100 / £ 100 of its price in a clearly without Apple movement.
That does not often happen in the launch, and makes the new air (which starts at $ 999 / £ 999 / Au $ 1,699) is an important contender for the first place in our guide to the best laptops. On the other hand, Apple also suspended the M3 MacBook Air in the process (and made the MacBook Air M2 more difficult to find), leaving us less cheaper options. First it occurs, then it moves away …
5. Apple also launched new iPads
Apple’s iPad air is no longer the thinnest iPad (seeing the iPad Pro M4), but it is changing to the mode of performance and productivity.
The last iPad Air (11 and 13 inches) looks almost exactly the last (save the elimination of the “iPad” tag on the back), but has a completely new brain in the powerful M3 chip that will support all kinds of activities that range from video editing and art creation to Apple’s intelligence tasks.
But Apple has now matched it with a new, optional (and more affordable) magic keyboard that includes a row of function keys and a remarkably larger trackpad. This is a tablet ready for productivity work, and for some it could be, with that keyboard, an ultra -adventable substitute.
As for the 11 -inch base iPad, it also obtained an update of chips but only for the A16. Now, that is a great piece of apple silicon, but does not support Apple’s intelligence. I bet that the target market will not miss it.
4. Dyson’s Pro r Hair Seder joined the main range
Previously a professional hair dryer, the Supersonic R has now been added to the main range of Dyson consumption. Of course, it looks a bit strange, but it is 20% smaller and 30% lighter than the original supersonic and more powerful. So, if you are looking for a fast style without the arm pain (and has properly deep pockets), it is worth taking a look.
The R has a wide range of compatible magnetic style accessories. These include the intriguing power of power and smooth smooth, along with the fans’ favorite flying accessory. As with the current range topper, the Supersononic Nurall, the dryer knows which one is connected and will automatically change to its last configuration for each one.
The Dyson Supersonic R is now available in the USA., It is due in the United Kingdom as of April 2. This version is identical to the original Pro version, except for a shorter cable (house length, instead of living room) and some new combinations of great colors.
If he lost the opportunity to obtain the transparent Ray-Ban intelligent glasses last year, then he is lucky: Meta is launching another limited edit batch, but they will have an even shorter supply.
A teaser on the Meta website says that something new will leave directly from the track, with the promise that intelligent limited time specifications will be launched this month, although the image also highlights a “0001/3600” label, which suggests that this new lot will have less than half of the availability of the limited 7,500 race last year.
Beyond the transparent frame, we know nothing more about the fall, but according to the comment of the track, we suspect that this could have a connection with the recent Milan Fashion Week, which is where a $ Ap Rocky debuted as the first creative director of Ray-BAN. He already exhibited a couple of standard glasses designs, and this announcement could be mocking his first smart glasses.
2. Xiaomi revealed the first Wi-Fi headphones
In an easy of the 3 main innovations of innovative headphones we saw in MWC25 this week, Xiaomi released the first headphones with Wi-Fi, delivering high resolution audio up to 4.2Mbps. Do you want losses without losses on Wi-Fi without ruining the battery life? Xiaomi is gone and did, with the new Buds 5 Pro. They launched in Europe, in two variants: a standard (not Wi-Fi) Buds 5 Pro, and the Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi. Both models have an imposing specifications sheet, but the Wi-Fi are particularly impressive, since they can apparently offer losses without losses to up to 4.2 Mbps using their Wi-Fi connection, which is leaps and limits ahead of anything you will get with Bluetooth.
The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi has the S7 Pro Chip and Snapdragon Sound technology suite of Qualcomm, which can admit up to 96 KHz/24-bit Hi-RES Audio. Of course, there is a ‘but’: it will only work with certain smartphones. Xiaomi says that a list of compatible devices on its website will soon be published, but at this time, the only known compatible phones are the Xiaomi 15 and 15 ultra. (Your iPhone? Do not believe your hopes).
1. We check the AMD negotiating game graphics card
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is AMD’s first RDNA 4 card to reach the market and it is a banger, almost equalizing the Nvidia more expensive GPUs in a 4K and 1440p performance for $ 599. It is classified near the RTX 4080 and exceeds the oldest AMD cards, with a 304W TGP that remains manageable at this level of performance.
While lacking first level rays and the calculation of AI, it stands out in Raster work loads and games, staying more affordable and less prone to prices inflation. Ultimately, it is the best value for players who seek to update without breaking the bank.
