The judge of the Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) INAAM AMEEN MINHAS resumed on Monday to hear a request that sought changes in the curricula to create awareness between children and young people on the adverse effects of drugs and narcotic substances.

During the hearing, Judge Minhas asked officials if they knew how narcotics arrived in schools, schools and universities. He commented that drugs are delivered to schools and universities through mails and delivery personnel.

“Verify and inform which schools and universities are receiving what kind of deliveries. Children ask for pizza and food and, together with them, also receive drugs.

Judge Minhas ordered the authorities to stop direct delivery to students and take measures against the educational institutions they do not comply.

“Implement this and present a report on the next hearing. Verify which schools and universities often receive direct deliveries. Take measures against those institutions that do not comply,” he said.
