IHC seeks registration of Imran visitors

Islamabad:

The Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) has sought a record of the Superintendent of the Adial prison regarding visitors meetings with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf Imran Khan.

An IHC Bank of three members headed by the interim president of Justice Sarfraz Dogar heard the petition. The Superintendent of the Adial prison, Abdul Ghafoor Anjum, appeared before the court and said that the prison administration had been allowing visitors to meet with Imran Khan outside the scheduled times and the manual regulations of the jail. The Court requested a report from Adial’s jailer and ordered him to inform the Court about the criteria for visitors meetings with Imran Khan in jail.
