Islamabad:
The Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) directed that a miscellaneous appeal presented by Bushra Bibi, wife of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, who seeks the suspension of his sentence in the reference of 190 million pounds, will be set for the audience.
The IHC Division Bank composed of the caregiver of the caregiver Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Judge Muhammad Asif heard the diverse appeals on Tuesday.
During the hearing, Salman Akram Raja, lawyer of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, informed the court that the suspension appeals of the sentence had already been submitted, but the registrar’s office had raised unusual objections. He also pointed out that there is an established mechanism to program the main appeals for audiences.
Raja requested that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi appeals be heard the same day.
