- IKEA’s new Bluetooth Bluetooth Nattbad is available in three color options
- It has a spotify tap and multi-speaker match, and costs $ 49.99 / £ 29
- Ikea has also announced a lamp with an integrated speaker
IKEA has launched a nice bluetooth speaker in three color options: black, pink and yellow. It is designed to combine with the decoration of your home and is very small: only 7 inches high and a little less than five inches wide.
The speaker, called Nattbadd (below), is designed to resemble an ancient radio and has two particularly useful features: Spotify Tap to listen instantaneously and the ability to combine multiple to fill your home with sound.
Spotify Tap is a useful shortcut (usually found in the headphones) that allows you to resume a listening session where you left it, simply touching the device. Thanks to Nattbadd’s very low price label: $ 49.99 in the USA and £ 29 in the United Kingdom, the purchase of multiple speakers should not break the bank either.
This is not the only new Ikea speaker. The Blomprakt was also announced brilliant (below), a lamp with an integrated speaker and an intriguing design: its upper part is out of the center and inclined to give directional light. That will be launched in October 2025, but unfortunately prices have not yet been confirmed.
The two new speakers are only the beginning of a great impulse from Ikea’s smart house, with a lot of other products compatible with incoming matter as well.
IKEA everything comes out of matter
The new speakers are part of a renewed impulse of the intelligent house that the realization of Ikea, and in January 2026 the retailer says that more than 20 new products will be launched for the smart home.
Significantly, everyone will be compatible with the matter, the standard of the smart house, and that means that it can use them not only with the intelligent domestic centers of Ikea, as the direction compatible with the matter, but with many other controllers of the third -party subject.
As explained by Rank David Granath, “our goal is to make the smart home easy to use, easy to understand and within the reach of the many.” Simplicity and broad compatibility of matter is a key part of that, and it is likely that the completely enthusiastic support of the IKEA standard helps to be much more popular.
Ikea will also launch a collaboration with Swedish designer Tekla Severin, also known as Teklan, in January. The giant of the house previously announced the Teklan series in January, but said that the full range would not be launched until “early 2026”. Well, now it has been a bit more specific about that, but it is a shame that they won’t land on time for Christmas stockings.
Even so, Nattbadd is available in Ikea now, and we are looking to try it soon to see how it compares with the surprisingly good vappeby bluetooth speaker (which is even cheaper at $ 15 / £ 12 / au $ 22).
