Rep. Mary Miller, R-Bill., He has asked President Donald Trump to “withdraw all federal funds” from a district in the state after a mother claimed that her daughter and other students were forced to change in front of a transgender student in the girls’ locker room.

Miller published a message on social networks on Tuesday, calling the accusation an “atrocious violation” of the privacy of girls and Trump’s “Keep men out of female sports” Executive order, which effectively prohibited trans participation in sports of women and girls.

“I urge President Trump to immediately extract all the federal funds of the Deerfield School District! I am firmly with Nicole Georgas, a bold and brave mother of Illinois, by defending the rights of our daughters.”

Miller’s Post arrived almost a week after Georgas spoke during a meeting of the Education Board for Deerfield Public School District 109. During his speech, he accused his daughter’s school administrators of trying to force his 13 -year -old daughter and others to change in front of a transgender student in a girl’s locker room after girls had previously protested to change their uniforms for a physical education class.

“The girls want their changing rooms and baths to want to return their privacy. That is why I am here tonight. The well -being, mental health and privacy of my 13 -year -old daughter are at stake,” Georgas said.

Georgas explained that his daughter complained for the first time in early February that she was using the girl’s bath when a trans student was also using the installation. She later said that the administration explained that “a student can wear the bathroom and a female costume because they now identify as women.”

The problem intensified days later when Georgas’s daughter refused to change in front of a trans student in the girls’ locker room. Other students followed their protest, but that was when Georgas said that school administrators intervened.

The Trump administration has reviewed several states accused of violating the executive order. In particular, Trump and the governor of Maine Janet Mills faced themselves publicly about federal funds.
