The lawyer Imaan Mazari has filed a complaint letter about what he described “inaction” in his harassment complaint in the workplace against the Superior Court of the Islamabad court, Sardar Sarfraz Dogar.
In his letter to Judge INAAM AMEEN MINHAS, the “competent authority” under the protection against women’s harassment in the Law of the Labor Place, 2010, Mazari said he had not received updates on his case despite the requirement of the law that charges are communicated to the defendants “within three days” and a defense presented within seven.

He described the replacement of Judge Saman Rafat Imtiaz, who first learned of his complaint, as “illegal”, arguing that “the accused cannot alter the competent authority or prevent my complaint by abusing his position of authority.”
Mazari also claimed that IHC CJ Dogar was participating in “continuous acts of retaliation” after his complaint.
He cited the audience of his client Dr. Mahrang Baloch, where his power lawyer requested a transfer, but Dugar refused.
“No woman subject to this treatment must appear before her alleged stalker,” he wrote.

He also pointed out that its application seeking the preservation of CCTV images of the incident remained “unanswered.”
Conflict history
The confrontation between Mazari and CJ Dogar began on September 11 during an audience on the request of Mahrang Baloch to eliminate his name from the output control list (ECL).
Baloch, leader of the Balochjehti (Byc) committee, has been arrested under the maintenance of public order (MPO) since March after the protests in Quetta and was forbidden to travel to attend the time gala 100 in the United States.
During the audience, IHC CJ Dogar attacked against Mazari, saying: “You should keep your mouth closed and remain within the limits of respect.”
He accused her of calling him before calling him “dictator” and warned about contempt charges.
Returning to her husband, the lawyer Hadi Ali Chatta said: “Hadi Sahib, explicit it … if you catch her one day …”
Mazari, however, insisted that he was acting only in his professional capacity and emphasized that his client’s case should not suffer due to the judge’s complaints.
On the days that followed, Mazari began to formally document his complaints. On September 13, he transferred to the IHC registrar for the preservation of CCTV images of the Court N. ° 1, even provided a USB for evidence storage.
On September 14, he reiterated his request in writing. That same day, lawyer associations throughout the country condemned Dogar’s comments, with the Law Association of the Superior Court of Lahore demanding their removal.

Facing a violent reaction, telling later said that his words had been misunderstood, saying that he considered Mazari “as a daughter” and that he had only “offered advice as the elderly.”
It is important that CJ IHC understands that I am not an imaan Mazari activist in his court, I am a lawyer who has a report for my client and leads me according to the professional label (and a court should do the same).

But Mazari rejected this explanation and, on September 15, he filed a formal harassment complaint before the Women’s Hosting Research Committee of IHC, chaired by Judge Imtiaz.
She argued that Dogar’s comments were gender, threatening and fell within the reach of harassment in the workplace, urging the matter to be referred to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC).
The case soon intensified more. On September 17, the lawyer Adnan IQBAL presented a reference with the Islamabad Bar Association for permanent cancellation of the Mazari license.

He claimed that she was involved in “considered state” activities, adding another pressure layer on the lawyer.
