 
Taylor Sheridan, best known for creating the yellow stone universe, is ready to write a movie about Obligations with Peter Berg, who will also direct the film.
The duo have been friends for decades, as their friendship also turned into collaboration on projects like Hell or high tidewhich earned four Academy Award nominations.
The report comes on the heels of the filmmaker opting for NBCUniversal after years of working with Paramount. Your deal with them starts in 2029.
It’s unclear what the plot of the film is, but it is based on the popular video game.
In other news, Taylor, who is behind the hit Yellowstone, is said to be at odds with the series’ lead star Kevin Costner over his creative vision.
“Obviously, when Yellowstone started, it was Kevin’s show,” a source previously said. Us weekly. “He was the main star and the draw, and everyone knew it.”
But the Oscar winner “felt like he was the authority on what made things seem authentic to the subject matter.”
Of this, the source added: “Everything about this franchise is Taylor’s creation, her baby. So that was an area of tension, for sure.”
