Impostor retained by assaulting the doctor



A medical woman from the Government TB Hospital Samli in Murree was supposedly sexually assaulted by a man in a private hotel near Sunny Bank on the night of May 20. The defendant had falsely appeared as a special advisor to Punjab’s principal minister. A case was recorded at the Murree Police Station, and the police quickly arrested the defendant, identified as Asad Khan. According to the reports, the suspect was for the first time to the Samli Hospital, where he verbally abused the security personnel and force the Lady Doctor, presenting her as her wife, in a Mehran car. Two unidentified men were already present in the vehicle, who allegedly threatened the doctor with death. According to the reports, both the defendant, Asad Khan and the victim belong to the same village in Khanewal. The doctor declared that Asad had tried to assault her sexually in Lahore after attracting her there. He had also cheated her with false employment promises in several hospitals, claiming that she could ensure publications through her influence. However, credible sources confirmed that the doctor was appointed for the Sanatorium hospital of TB in Murree for merit. She had only been in her new position for two days before the incident occurred. The Murree Police have initiated legal procedures.
