Aleem Khan, sister of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) imprisoned, Imran Khan, said Friday that the pattern in chief of the party had ordered that the party should begin its movement against the government after the tenth of Muharram.
In statements to the media outside an anti -terrorism court in Rawalpindi, he transmitted the message of the founder of PTI, stating that he said it would be better to establish a “monarchy” instead of implementing the 27th amendment.
The announcement occurred days after the Supreme Court denied the party reserved seats for minorities and women in Parliament.
On June 27, the Constitutional Bank of the SC ruled that the PTI was not entitled to seats reserved in national and provincial assemblies.
Meanwhile, the government warned the PTI that they do not believe anarchy in the name of the protest, emphasizing that organizing peaceful manifestations was their constitutional right, but violence could not be allowed.
Aleem said that a plan for movement has already been prepared, while the founder of PTI has urged the masses to “go out for their freedom.” Imran has reiterated his position that “imprisonment is better than slavery,” he said.
Imran’s sister also said that her brother was facing hard conditions in jail, stating that her experience is unimaginable for her opponents.
She said that the founder of PTI spends 22 hours a day in a cell and is only allowed to leave for two hours. “All prison facilities for the founder of PTI have been fired,” he said, adding that he is not allowed to talk to his children or access books.
In contrast, she drew a comparison with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whose meals, said, were delivered from her home and received hundreds of visitors.
He also said that Nawaz and his daughter remained in “a rest house” with all available facilities.
On the other hand, said Aleema, Imran has not been allowed to talk to his children during the last six months. “This continuous denial is inhuman and illegal,” he wrote on a tweet.
While, during the last eight months, as head of the greatest political party of Pakistan, Imran has also been forbidden to meet the members of his party, he said, added that he was equivalent to denying his constitutional right to political consultation and leadership.
Meanwhile, PTI spokesman Sheikh Waqas Akram said that his party first postponed the protests nationwide due to the War of Iran and Israel, then delayed it out of respect for Muharram’s days.
“The preparations for all the provincial presidents of the party are complete,” he said, speaking with Geographical news.
In the first phase, demonstrations would be made in provinces and districts, said PTI spokesman.
For a consultation, he said that party workers should not be exposed to living bullets.
“When the first bullet shot, the founder of PTI won,” he said.
For another consultation related to the statement of KP’s prime minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, that he would bring weapons to the protest, Akram said Gandapur was talking about self -defense. “What the prime minister meant was that everyone has the right to self -defense,” he added.
PTI spokesman also said that the founder of PTI had ordered Gandapur to lead the protest.
