Islamabad:
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has not authorized any party leader to hold conversations with the powers that are for any “agreement,” said PTI’s president, Gohar Ali Khan, while talking to the media after a meeting with Imran in the Adiala jail of Rawalpindi.
Last week, the leader of PTI Senior, Azam Khan Swati, had said that he would work to start the dialogue between Imran Khan and the chief general of the Syed Army also Munir.
He had emphasized the importance of the military, describing him as “a key national institution and a source of pride.” He had denied the suggestions that his release was part of any agreement, maintaining that his loyalty to Imran Khan remained “unwavering.”
However, the PTI had distanced from the reports, which suggests that Azam Swati was involved in conversations with the military establishment.
In statements to the media in Lahore, the secretary general of PTI Salman Akram Raja on April 12 declared that such actions were not sanctioned by the leadership of the party.
However, Swati on Tuesday claimed that Imran Khan had agreed to maintain negotiations. Speaking to journalists outside an anti -terrorism court in Lahore, Swati said that Imran Khan is deeply concerned about the future of the country and the well -being of future generations.
However, Gohar Ali Khan declared Tuesday that Imran Khan has not authorized anyone to negotiate “an agreement.” According to Gohar, during the meeting, the founder of PTI also strictly instructed the leaders of his party who did not issue any statement against the leader of any other party in the media. Khan regretted that the authorities of the Adiala prison continued to comply with the order of the Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) with respect to Imran’s visit rights.
