Imran interim bonds, extended bushra


Rawalpindi / Islamabad:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi extended the interim bonds of Bushra Bibi, wife of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, until June 12 in relation to 29 signed registered on the protest of November 26 of PTI.

Atc Amjad Ali Shah judge presided over the procedures. His advice, defenders of Muhammad Faisal Malik and Hasnain Sanbal, appeared before the court and requested that Bushra Bibi be included in the investigation in the presence of her husband and legal representatives.

Prosecutor Syed Zaheer Shah filed case records before the court, while investigating officials in these cases were also present.

The court extended the interim bond of Bushra Bibi until June 12 and postponed more procedures until the next hearing, instructing the councils of both parties that present their arguments on the following date.

Meanwhile, in Islamabad, the additional judge of the District and the Muhamad AFZAL Majoka sessions extended the intermediate bonds of the founder of PTI in six cases and Bushra Bibi in one case. The court also ordered that Imran should be produced in person or by video link at the next hearing.

During the hearing on the bail supplications prior to the arrest, lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry appeared before the court.

However, the arguments on behalf of Imran could not present themselves as the main lawyer Salman Safdar were involved in the Supreme Court. The lawyer Chaudhry requested a new date for the arguments, noting that despite the judicial orders, the imprisoned leader had not been produced.

The court extended the defendant’s intermediate bonds until June 17 and ordered that Imran be presented in person or by video link on the next hearing date.
