The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has instructed party members who have government roles to resign from their positions within the party.

The directive, communicated through the secretary general of PTI SALMAN AKRAM RAJA, aims to give Junaid Akbar, the newly appointed president of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter of PTI, a free hand to reorganize the party.

Raja, speaking with journalists after visiting Khan in Adiala’s prison on Tuesday, said Khan has good health despite concerns about his well -being.

He also revealed that Khan planned to write to the president of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Yahya Afridi on matters within the penitentiary system, noting that the administration of the prison was allegedly under the control of the “invisible forces.”

The secretary general of the PTI addressed the position of the party on current issues in Sindh, including resistance to the construction of the dam, reaffirming PTI’s commitment to fight for the rights of people in the province.

In addition, Raja highlighted the determination of the party to commit to all institutions, stating that PTI “would call the doors” to address the concerns, particularly in the light of the controversial approval of the 26th constitutional amendment.
