The former prime minister, Imran Khan, instructed his party, Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), to launch a strong political movement after Ramadan and assigned two high-ranking leaders to commit to the opposition.
His lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, shared these details with the media outside the Adials prison after meeting Imran Khan.
According to Faisal Chaudhry, Imran Khan has ordered Asad Qaiser and Umar Ayub to take care of political coordination and establish communication with opposition parties. Imran Khan also reiterated that his open letters stand out facts that the establishment must consider.
Faisal Chaudhry said that PTI leaders who face legal actions are subject to controlled judgments within the Adiala prison, while those who left the party after 9 may have been saved legal consequences.
He revealed that PTI has presented a petition in the Superior Court of Islamabad demanding an open trial. “Lawyers and journalists are selectively allowed within the Court Chamber. The Judiciary is being crushed and basic rights are violated,” he said.
Imran Khan’s lawyer reiterated PTI’s position that May 9 events were a false flag operation, demanding an independent judicial commission to investigate incidents.
“We seek justice under the Constitution and the Law. We do not agree with the comments of the Bank of the Supreme Court on the Military Courts,” added Faisal Chaudhry. Imran Khan, through his lawyer, also highlighted the economic crisis and human rights violations of Pakistan.
“The holiness of the houses was raped in repressions against PTI. Basic human rights are being trampled. With the censorship of the media and internet restrictions, who will invest in Pakistan?” Khan was summoned by saying.
In addition, he said that after the elimination of PTI, Pakistan suffered an economic loss of $ 45 billion, and the current government formed “on the shoulders of form 47”, a reference to the alleged electoral appearance.
