Imran Khan willing to speak with decision makers: Ali Amin Gandapur

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to participate in conversations with the country’s decision makers for the good of Pakistan.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Gandapur accused the leader of Jui-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, of being a “hypocritical”, claiming that he is still aligned with the establishment despite public criticisms.

The KP cm said that the movement led by PTI has already begun in Imran’s instructions and would reach its maximum point before August 5. “A new strategy will be announced after that,” he said, adding that the nation has woken up politically.

Gandapur claimed that PTI supporters were subjected to torture after May 9, and that a renewed “fascist campaign” is being carried out. “Imran cases cannot proceed in court even,” he added.

Gandapur said that even the constitutional right to protest is being removed. “We are urging people to leave and protest, however, state institutions have abandoned their constitutional duties and are involved in unconstitutional actions. They have left the contributing and border security to attack us,” he said.

KP’s prime minister said a mafia structure has rooted in the country. “Institutions claim that they do not participate in politics, but that is exactly what they are doing. I am the son of a soldier, but today people have turned against institutions.”

He added that Imran has constantly requested dialogue. “The public is rejecting antidemocratic behavior. If I have met someone for the good of Pakistan, then I have done it,” he said.

Gandapur claimed that the establishment played a role in the orchestra of false elections and the fall of the government. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman admitted that he acted on the instructions of General Bajwa to demolish our government,” he said.

The cm of kp said there have been 90 days. “According to the new strategy, we will take our movement to its peak before August 5. Within these 90 days, we will decide whether or not to do politics in this country,” he said.

He added that there is no dead point in negotiations. “They are wasting their time to serve their own interests. We have never held secret meetings even in official meetings, I openly represent the agenda of my party,” he said.

He said that if they request permission to celebrate a demonstration in LaHore, they will also provide the guarantee that vandalism will not take place. “Even when we do not announce a protest, repression against us is launched,” he added.

Gandapur declared: “God does not allow me to become as Asif Zardari. I have 56 FIR against me, including betrayal charges. Our 90 -day period begins from tomorrow within this time, negotiations must take place and the problems must be solved.”

He said: “I admit that there are differences within the party, but when a party grows, the disagreements are natural. I said it yesterday and say it again today, we must put aside our internal differences and move forward for a shared ideology.”

Gandapur added that KP has RS190 billion in its accounts. “We have generated income in KP. Stop twisting our statements in false narratives. The only person who can solve Pakistan’s problems is the founder of PTI. The world has never accepted a government formed through a stolen mandate,” he said.

He said the game had instructed not commenting on Maulana Fazlur Rehman, but added: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a hypocritical. He is still secretly aligned with the establishment. He won votes using religion, but lost his security deposit in his own constituency.”

In addition, he declared: “Someone chosen from Baluchistan does not have the right to talk about KP. Challenge to Maulana Fazlur Rehman to prepare and win against my brother. If he fails, he should leave politics. If my brother loses before Maulana, I will leave the policy.”

The KP cm said that its campaign has officially begun today, with a deadline established for August 5. “After that, we will decide for ourselves about politics, the State and our future,” he said.

He added: “On February 8, people showed that the nation has woken up. There is nothing substantial in cases against Imran Khan, so they are not being carried out in court. No political movement in the world has faced the type of oppression we have. We will carry our movement through each street and city in all Pakistan.”

He said: “We will soon present a plan that describes our next steps. State institutions have abandoned their real responsibilities and are involved in other matters. Those responsible for administering borders are to blame for the situation in KP. Its martial laws have damaged both the country and democracy.

Gandapur added: “We will sit together, let’s admit our mistakes and move forward. Even after facing such oppression, the founder of PTI is asking for dialogue. This toxic political culture will eventually damage all parties. We have endured a lot, but many others may not. No one can say that they are above everyone’s responsibility will have to answer for their actions.”

The cm of KP questioned: “Why was there no terrorism during the mandate of PTI’s founder? Look at the record: how many drone attacks and strikes occurred during our time.”

He urged: “We will sit and have a reasoned discussion. After amendment 26, even the Judiciary has been chained. Leave aside its stubbornness and ego, and speak for the sake of the nation. If the responsibility will happen, all those who have made mistakes must face consequences.”

He also said that the children of PTI founder can come to Pakistan. “They have not announced any plan to enter politics. And if they do, that is our concern, not from any other part,” he said.

United front

Meanwhile, the general secretary of PTI, Salman Akram Raja, rejected the statements of divisions within the party, qualifying it from a narrative manufactured by the power corridors of the country.

Speaking at a press conference, he said: “This is a country of the elites. The entire meeting of the party at Lahore is proof that we are united in our demand for the release of our founder, Imran Khan.”

Raja said that the liberation of Imran Khan symbolizes the freedom of the State, the Judiciary and the Nation. “Under his leadership, we will change the course of the history of this country,” he added, promising that the February 8 events will not be forgotten.

He highlighted the introduction of PTI of the health card scheme and said that the poor of Pakistan are firmly with the party. “The whole nation and the party are united for the launch of the founder of PTI,” he reiterated.

In addition, he accused the government of economic manipulation, stating: “millions of tons of sugar were exported and then imported again at higher prices.”
