Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) affirms that a letter written by Imran Khan to the head of the army has worried government officials and has taken strong reactions from the ruling coalition.
Without referring to the Army Chief, the lawyer Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif, spokesman for the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government, claimed that the letter had created panic within the federal government, although he did not appoint any specific official.
He said that the “false government” ministers had launched propaganda even before the letter reached their planned recipients.
“The leaders of the ruling party have lost their sleep due to the letter of Imran Khan,” Saif said in a statement, added that the senior figures of Pakistan MuSlim – Nawaz (PML -N) were “visibly disturbed.”
PTI has repeatedly accused the government of using legal and administrative tactics to suppress the opposition.
Saif said that once Khan is released, his party will hold the ruling coalition for what he described as “illegal actions and political victimization.”
According to reports, the letter, aimed at superior military leadership, has not yet received an official response.
