Let’s say just two short notes sent; Information Minister Tarar says a detailed medical report was given to the family

Sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Friday urged Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi to issue a contempt notice to prison authorities for allegedly failing to comply with their orders regarding the release of their brother’s medical reports to his family.
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) previously confirmed that Imran was taken to the hospital, where, after obtaining his consent, he was administered an intravitreal anti-VEGF injection to treat a right central retinal vein occlusion. The PTI rejected the PIMS report on Imran’s eye treatment and demanded that he be treated at Shaukat Khanum Hospital and his family be allowed to join him.
Furthermore, PTI leaders staged a day-long sit-in in front of the Supreme Court (SC) and managed to get assurances that the authorities would provide the jailed leader’s medical report to his family. PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja held a 30-minute meeting with CJP Afridi, during which PTI’s concerns were formally conveyed. The Chief Justice, along with the Attorney General and the Registrar of the Supreme Court, had assured that the medical reports would be provided to Imran and his sisters, and that his personal doctors would have access to him once the reports were received.
Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai had also written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressing concern over the health of the jailed PTI founder and seeking the PM’s personal intervention to allow a full medical examination by a team of “trusted doctors”.
In a post today on X, Aleema Khanum and Noreen Niazi said the Chief Justice had given an undertaking last week that Imran’s medical reports would be provided to his family. However, they claimed that when the superintendent of Adiala jail appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), he only submitted two brief notes instead of a detailed medical report.
“This conduct reflects complete disregard for the authority of the Chief Justice. We urge Chief Justice Yahya Afridi to issue a contempt notice to the prison authorities and ensure that Imran Khan’s medical reports are released to his family without further delay,” they said.

Shortly after, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said in a post on X that a detailed medical report on Imran had already been provided to the family.
“Following instructions from the Prime Minister’s Office, the CEO of PIMS Hospital prepared a detailed medical report and sent it to the Superintendent of Central Jail Rawalpindi (Adiala), which was handed over to the family,” Tarar wrote.
The opposition leader wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and the PTI leaders also approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding the medical check-up of Mr. Imran Ahmad Niazi, who is serving his sentences in Rawalpindi Central Jail (Adiala).
