Karachi:
India has carried out air attacks in three bases of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot. In an emergency press conference held in the early hours of Saturday, the Director General of ISPR, General Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that all PAF assets were still safe.
“Continuing with its naked aggression, India some time ago has triggered air to the air to surface with its airplanes. Base Paf Nur Khan, the base of PAF Murid and the Shorkot base were attacked,” he said.
DG ISPR also confirmed that “the majority” of the Indian missiles fired to the PAF air bases were successfully intercepted by the defense systems of the Armed Forces.
He added that the few missiles that managed to evade the interception, “he slipped” but, according to the initial damage evaluation reports, “they have not been able to cause any damage” to PAF flying assets.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry declared that the armed forces of Pakistan are still “vigilant and are frustrating all these acts cowardly aggression by the Indians.” He described recent strikes as part of a broader and more growing campaign of India, which according to him reflects the growing internal instability.
“These flagrant acts of aggression by India actually reflect the paranoia within the Indian mentality that continues to grow after the failure of each of this act,” he said. “Paranoia continues to grow once it realizes that they cannot break the resolution and will of the people of Pakistan, which actually strengthens and grows even more with each of those cowardly acts.”
He added that this “growing frustration and paranoia” within the Indian strategic circles is likely to “aggravate even more” as Pakistan’s response capabilities remain firm.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry confirmed that the PAF has electronic signatures of all the Indian missiles used in recent attacks, including data on their launch points and planned objectives. “Our air defense systems have successfully avoided the desired objectives of India,” he said.
DG ISPR also declared that the moment of the missile and the drones of India attacks Afghanistan, which is coming shortly after the missile is launched within Punjab Indio, suggested a “larger sinister plan to push the region and beyond the ravages.”
He warned that India was trying to drag the entire region to a catastrophic conflict. “Now you just expect our answer,” he concluded.

Previously, DG ISPR reported that India launched six ballistic missiles from the Adampur Air Base in Indian Punjab. Of these, a missile landed near the general area of Adampur himself, while the remaining five attacked in the Amritsar region.
He characterized the incident as an reckless movement that endangered civil life and raised serious questions about the operational intention of India and internal orientation protocols.
He affirmed that the attacks were not accidental. “India deliberately points to the populated SIJ areas in Punjab to incite hostility between Sijs to Pakistan,” he said.
Meanwhile, multiple explosions were reported in Rawalpindi and Lahore in the early hours of Saturday, which caused security and emergency responses in both cities.
In Rawalpindi, two explosions were heard in the Saddar area, and residents reported that the sound came to Islamabad, according to Express News.
According to the sources, the explosions were heard near Nur Khan Airbase in Chaklala. The sirens were activated in the vicinity, and many residents voluntarily turned off their lights as a caution.
In Lahore, residents reported strong explosions and the sound of shots near the Bedian Road and Defense Housing Authority (DHA). The authorities continue to evaluate the events in both cities.
Speaking in an informative session for foreign media on Friday, the main military spokesman challenged India to present evidence, if he has any, of Pakistan’s attacks against Indian military facilities with drones and missiles.
“Pakistan has not used drones or rockets. If India states otherwise, allow it to present evidence,” he challenged, criticizing the Indian media for spreading “manufactured stories.”
DG ISPR said that the reprisals of the Pakistani army against the aggression of India were limited to the Indian military positions that fired in civil areas along the control line (LOC).
Lieutenant General Chaudhry joined the General Director of the General Director of PAF (DGPR), the Marshal Vice Chamber Aungzeb Ahmed, and the deputy director of Naval Personnel (operations) of the rear of Admiral Raba Raba Nawaz.
They informed the media about the situation in the LOC and the broader regional implications. They strongly rejected the Indian accusations about the attack of the Pahalgama, warning that New Delhi actions run the risk of destabilizing regional peace.
