Indian Army officers, Afghan citizens involved in terrorism in Pakistan: DG ISPR


The general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said Pakistan has “credible evidence” that Indian army officers and illegal Afghan citizens are involved in terrorism and serious crimes within Pakistan.

In a detailed interview with an international media on September 5, 2025, Lieutenant General Chaudhry said Pakistan had welcomed millions of Afghan refugees for four decades and repeatedly extended the deadline for his voluntary return for humanitarian reasons, Express news reported.

He said that the original asylum reasons (foreign interference and civil war) “no longer exist.”

DG ISPR accused India of terrorism sponsored by the State, stating that violent incidents within India come from extremist policies and that New Delhi seeks to portray internal and external problems.

“Authentic evidence has emerged to serve the officers of the Indian Army involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan,” he said, added that Islamabad has presented this test to the international community several times.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry urged the global community to help solve the Kashmir’s dispute and warned that Indian state institutions, including the army, are influenced by extremist political ideologies.

He stressed that Pakistan rejects all non -state actors without discrimination and that no group or individual who is not the State can declare jihad. “There is no place in Pakistan for any militia or armed groups,” he said.

Highlighting the sacrifices of Pakistan as a first -line state in the fight against terrorism, Chaudhry said that the weapons that remain in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of the United States are now being used in attacks, an issue on which the United States has expressed concern.

He also recalled the leadership role of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, during Pakistan’s tension periods -India and pointed out the constructive and strategic ties of Pakistan with China.

Chaudhry added that the United States has appointed the Majeed Brigade forbidden as a global terrorist organization, and that several militants killed by “Fitna-E-Hindustan” in Baluchistan were among the so-called missing people.
