Security sources in Pakistan have accused India of orchestrating sabotage along the control line (LOC), claiming that the Indian forces are actively involved in the planting of explosives, smuggling weapons and inciting the disturbances in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to senior security officials, Indian troops have long dedicated themselves to firing and sabotage operations not caused throughout the loc.
The evidence indicates that 54 incidents involving improvised explosive devices (FDI) improvised with Indian plantation have taken place since 2016 in sensitive areas such as Chakothi, Neza Pir, Chirakot, Rakh Chikri, Deva, Battal and Kot Kotelo.
The recent recovery of four FDI between February 4 and February 6 of this year in the Battal and Rawalakot sectors led to the death of a civilian, which increased alarms on growing tensions.
Another violation of the high fire of the Indian forces on February 12 in the Dewa and Bagsa sectors resulted in two Pakistani soldiers.
Security sources revealed that the Indian forces have been transporting explosives, weapons and narcotics throughout the loc, particularly in the areas of Bagh, Battal and Deva, to destabilize the region.
Pakistan has formally protested these actions to India and has presented evidence to the United Nations officials parked in the region.
The accusations also include the use of double agents by Indian intelligence to smuggle weapons with the help of Indian border units, subsequently eliminating these agents and falsely labeling them as Pakistani agents.
Defense analysts emphasize that these operations are part of the broader strategy of India to cause Pakistan and suppress the dissent in the back managed by India.
They affirm that India’s activities coincide with the next visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United States, which suggests an attempt to discredit Pakistan in the global stage portraying it as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Reports also mention internal problems within the Indian army, including the increase in suicide cases, which are often misrepresented as cross -border commitments.
Pakistan has urged the international community to take an immediate notice of these activities, warning that continuous Indian provocations could endanger regional stability.
