INDY 500: Conor Daly admits urinating in the car during rain delay

Conor Daly’s career team got a little more than they negotiated at the Indianapolis 500 during the weekend when the Indycar pilot went to a gross event on Monday night during the victory banquet.

Indy 500 was delayed almost an hour due to rain. The pilots were forced to sit in their cars on the border until the officials gave them the clarified to start running. Due to the delay, Daly said he could no longer hold his urine.

“I want to specifically thank my mechanics, because there has been a lot of conversation tonight and I also saw on the Internet, many bath conversations and maybe some using the bathroom,” Daly said. “We had to wait a long time before the race. I have never urinated in my career car until Sunday.

“I was sitting in the grid and I thought: ‘This is the best car I have been in, in my whole life. I will have to urinate in this thing.’ He does not joke, I have legitimately urinated in my car of career before the race began.”

Daly said he had to “really bad” and admitted that he sat throughout the race in his own urine. He said “became clean” with his mechanics after the race ended.
