The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, requested on Wednesday a strategic review to boost qualified labor exports.
The DPM presided over a high -level meeting to review the emigration of Pakistan, employment abroad and technical and vocational training policy (TVET), with an focus on aligning the country’s workforce with the demands of the global market, according to a press release from the DPM office.
DPM GIVED The urgent need to invest in the development of high quality skills, diversify in new employment sectors and explore non -exploit international destinations for Pakistani workers.
He highlighted the importance of aligning the human capital of Pakistan with the international demand to increase foreign remittances, expand labor roads abroad and improve the country’s global economic footprint.
“The government is committed to improving skills development frameworks and expanding employment opportunities abroad. This will not only increase remittances but will also improve Pakistan’s competitiveness on the global stage,” Dar said.
