- Xess 2 SDK is now available for free for game developers, since Intel throws it through Github
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows will feature Xess 2 when it is launched on March 20
- This will be ideal for Handheld, Intel Arc and Ultrabook players.
While AMD and NVIDIA make great movements for players with the RADEON RX 9000 series and the RTX 5000 series, respectively, Intel remains a dark dark horse for affordable PC games in this generation. Its BattleMage Battlemage GPU already launched offer strong alternatives to the most affordable options of AMD and NVIDIA, and now has taken a big step that will help players even more.
As reported by Tweaktown, Xess 2 SDK of Intel is now available to download through Github, which means that game developers can implement technology (with complete functionality) in their games. This means that Xess 2 (fed by AI) super resolution, frame generation and xell latencia will probably appear in the next titles, and the excellent example is Assassin’s Creed Shadowswhich will feature Xess 2 and launched on March 20.
A wide range of Intel hardware, including ARC B580 and B570, Lunar Lake Apus, and the complete set of intel core ultraptop chips will have access to the full range of characteristics of Xess 2, especially within the best ultrabooks and recent MSI Claw 8 AI+. However, an older hardware will not have access to the generation of Xess 2 cadres due to the lack of AI capacities: this is similar to DLSS 3 and 4 of NVIDIA, since its technology of generation of pictures with ia is not available in GPU rtx 3000 and older.
In summary, Team Blue is making a serious effort to reach AMD and Nvidia; Battlemage GPUs are a great starting point, and the future improvements of their Xess technologies could take it one step closer.
This makes me even more excited to have an MSI Claw 8 AI+ Handheld …
As much as I love Asus Rog, he is gradually starting to accumulate dust. I yearn for a more powerful hand game device, to boost the highest performance levels, and the MSI Claw 8 AI+ seems the perfect answer. With the SDK of Xess 2 now available for developers, it is probably the ideal time to put my claws in a claw.
The AMD FSR 4 will not be available in anything other than RDNA 4 hardware, and that is a great annoyance for me and many others in the hope that the tastes of Rog Ally or Lenovo’s Legion Go (including its new prototype) will benefit retroactively from the new expansion technology. The only other option would be (for now) is the MSI Claw 8 AI+, since it has access to all Xess 2 offers, and I have been excited about performance exhibitions and reference points.
The same goes for ultrabooks using compatible processors: players can enjoy Xess 2 in more games in the future, already measure that the integrated graphics continue to improve, it is exactly what is needed for more variety of NVIDIA and AMD: it is worth noting that DLSS 4 and FSR 4 are already available in a decent amount of titles (a number of titles that only continues) Well, the team is excellent for the team to be excellent for the team to be excellent for the team to be excellent for the team to be excellent for the team to be great), so it is great that it is great), it is good that the equipment is excellent for the equipment to be excellent for the team to be great). The scope of Xess 2.
