Karachi: The former Captain of the Cricket team of Pakistan, Inzamam-Ul-Haq, responded to the legendary Cricket player of India, Sunil Gavaskar, for his recent comments on the disappointing campaign of green shirts in the Men Men Men Men Men’s Trophy of the CPI 2025.
In an interview, Gavaskar had declared that Pakistan’s current team is not strong enough to face team B of India.
“I think even team B of India would give Pakistan a difficult challenge. It would be very difficult for Pakistan’s current team to overcome them, ”said Gavaskar.
Sunil Gavaskar’s comments certainly did not sit well with Inzamam-Ul-Haq, who warned the legendary mass that he used his words carefully in a ‘slightly hard’ tone.
“Gavaskar Sahab should see statistics. He is an old man; we respect him. But when we talk about someone’s country […] Your team has played well. You have the right to praise your team. But it is not right to say about another team like this. Be careful with his words, I say it in a slightly hard tone, “said the former Cricket player.
Gavaskar also pointed out the lack of intention of Pakistan’s batters.
“Mohammad Rizwan hit the first ball of his entries for a four, and I thought we were in something different. However, the batters soon began to block deliveries instead of rotating the strike. The Indian spinnings completed their overs quickly, and it was surprising that Pakistan batters would not show any urgency, ”he said.
Gavaskar further criticized Pakistan’s failure to develop the bank’s strength over the years.
“Pakistan has talented players, but they have not been able to build a strong backup. It is surprising that they have fought to produce batters like Inzamam-ul-Haq. The Super League of Pakistan (PSL) is playing nationally, but has not produced enough high quality batters, “he said.
