- The screen time is configured to obtain new parental controls in iOS 18.5
- Other changes include adjustments to mail, configuration and more
- It is expected that iOS 18.5 will be launched as soon as next week
Apple is about to launch the iOS 18.5 update, and will come with a lot of new useful features that could improve all the best iPhones when you arrive. And judging by Apple’s launch notes for update, there is a particularly useful change that reaches the screen time.
According to Apple, parents will soon be notified when their screen time password code has been successfully entered in a child’s device. That should immediately inform parents that their offspring has found a path beyond the restrictions on their device.
The screen time can be used to limit how long a person spends in a specified application, block inappropriate content and confine the access of the device to predefined times. If a child finds a way to avoid these restrictions, they could change or disable them.
Parents can also obtain similar notifications in macOS once they have installed the macOS update 15.5. The constructions of iOS 18.5 and Macos 15.5
More changes that reach iOS 18.5
The controls of the improved parents are not the only changes that are made to the next updates of the Apple operating system. There are minor adjustments such as Apple that group a new harmony pride wallpaper to support LGBT rights, but some broader changes are also approaching.
The Mail application now has options to show or hide contact photos on your inbox, while you can also disable the group in view of the sender. Meanwhile, in the configuration application, it is now easier to see your AppleCare+ information and get more information about the service. These updates were previously seen in Beta iOS 18.5 in early April.
The changes not only focus on the last iPhones. The users of the iPhone 13 will also benefit, with satellite services provided by carriers available for all models in the iPhone 13 range. That does not refer to Apple’s own satellite services, such as emergency emergency sos through the satellite, but those who provide transporters, such as T-Mobile’s collaboration with Starlink.
With iOS 18.5 on the edge of launch to the public, it will not spend much time until everyone can try these new features. That should prepare well for the World Developer Conference (WWDC) in June in June, where iOS 19 is expected to be presented to the world.
