  • The image in iOS 26 shows what a real -time translation looks like
  • Will require a device compatible with Apple intelligence
  • It could be just iPhone 17, and possibly 16 pro/max

The last beta developer of iOS 26 has apparently revealed an important update not announced for AirPods 4 and Airpods Pro 2: Real World, real -time translation.

As reported 9th5mac, iOS 26 Developer Beta 6 contains a new system asset that shows both airpods stems that are pressed simultaneously. The image seems to refer to the application translates and shows several words in several languages, including Hello, Danke, Obrigado, Bonjour, Olá and Bye.

The translation of the real world was not announced on WWDC, but we know it was in development (Image credit: Apple)

Danke, Apple
