Ipvanish has just announced a new association with United Rugby Championship (URC).
The campaign aims to promote best cybersecurity practices among rugby fans worldwide. Similar initiatives are echoed by some of the best VPN suppliers in the past.
Protection, in the field and online
Speaking about the association, the general manager of Ipvanish, Subbu Sthanu said: “Either in the field or online, everyone needs to protect their home. This association allows us to connect with a passionate and expert audience in technology and bring home the importance of safety and privacy in everyday life.”
Specifically, the “Defense First” campaign of IPvanish seeks to promote digital security at the Global Sports Fan Base. This includes an awareness initiative aimed at educating fans and teams on online protection.
The supplier also wants to support the role of the official transmission group of the Rugby League, the television matches (TMO) officials. The objective here is “to improve how decisions are communicated to fans both in the stadium and in observation at home,” explains the supplier.
Founded in 2001, United Rugby Championship (URC) is a professional annual competition that has elite clubs in Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa and Wales.
