Islamabad:
The prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, described on Wednesday the very alarming regional situation due to the intensive armed conflict between Iran and Israel and said he represented a threat not only for regional peace but also for global peace.
The prime minister reiterated the complete solidarity of Pakistan with the fraternal country Iran and his people against Israeli aggression and asked the international community to make efforts to guarantee the high immediate fire in the armed conflict in progress.
When heading to a cabinet meeting, which was broadcast on national television channels, the prime minister said that Pakistan had strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Iran in which hundreds of Iranian people lost their lives and that a greater number of others were injured. “The global community should guarantee a high fire,” he emphasized and expressed optimism for lasting peace.
Digital economy
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif established a high -level committee on Wednesday to promote the economy without effective and accelerate digitalization.
The Committee, chaired by Prime Minister himself, will review the progress and initiatives related to the promotion of digitalization and economy without cash weekly.
During the informative session, the meeting was informed that merchants received instructions on digital payments and money transfers through digital media.
The meeting was also informed about the initiatives on the Ministries of Finance and Information Technology.
Daanish schools
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday that the provision of equitable educational and development opportunities for economically weaker children remained among the main priorities of the government.
The prime minister directed that educational facilities in Daanish schools and university projects should align with international standards.
