The Commission for the Research of Space and the Superior Environment (Supparco) has issued a prognosis for the sighting of the Zilqad moon in Pakistan.

Suparco announced that the birth of the new moon for Zilqad 1446 Hijri is expected at 12:31 am on the night of April 28, 2025, Express News reported.

At sunset on April 28, the age of the new moon will be approximately 18 hours and 51 minutes.

In the coastal areas of the country, the interval between sunset and lunar is expected to be 53 minutes, which will provide favorable conditions to observe the new moon.

According to astronomical parameters, Zilqad’s new moon is likely to be visible on the night of April 28, 2025, under clear climatic conditions. As a result, Zilqad’s first is expected to fall on April 29, 2025.
