- ISAftstone grows rapidly, overcoming to become the PC two of China number two
- Grant in B2B and the game drives its increase in the local market challenge
- The global expansion could follow if this growth impulse continues incessantly
There is a fast -growing PC brand in China that has probably ever heard, but is on the way to becoming the second largest PC supplier in the country, surpassing HP and Apple.
Isoftstone, a more familiar name in China’s business circles, has seen explosive growth and triple digits, with a rapid expansion game portfolio that has begun to attract attention from outside its local market, although consumers are not sold abroad.
According to the latest Canalys report, ISAftstone sent 0.89 million PC in the first quarter of 2025, compared to 0.42 million in the first quarter of 2024, that is an increase of 111% in just one year. In the first quarter of 2024, Isoftstone had a market share of 5%. Now it is 10%, only 2% behind Huawei, 2% ahead of Apple and 3% ahead of HP.
Increase of 111% year -on -year
Much of the rapid success of ISoftstone comes from its commercial history. The company is deeply involved in the education and public sectors of China, areas that have benefited from the support and constant government subsidies, even when the great business expense has mainly maintained flat.
ISoftstone is also winning traction in Games PC, a category that continues to grow, 24% year after year, especially at the high performance end.
It is forecast that the general PC market in Continental China will remain stable this year, since the effect of consumer subsidies begins to fade. However, SMBs and public sectors are expected to grow by 4% and 1%, respectively.
“The PC panorama of Continental PC has evolved significantly in the last two years, made up of a more competitive panorama for national brands,” said Emma Xu, a senior analyst at Canalsys.
“Chinese suppliers focused on the consumer such as ISoftstone, Huawei, Honor and Xiaomi reported growth in the first quarter of 2025, gaining participation at the expense of traditional commercial weights such as Lenovo, HP and Dell.”
However, Isoftstone might not have an easy job claiming the number two place. As Xu pointed out, “the recent announcement of the Huawei Harmonyos PC in May could mark another potential turning point. While it faces a uphill battle to boost the adoption of consumers and developers, the long -standing strength of Huawei on mobile devices and the differentiation of emerging could see the harmonies redefine the competitive landscape of the PC in the long term “.
As is now, Isoftstone focuses on China. But with past participation in global projects, such as a data center in Singapore, it may not remain local for a long time. If, driven by national success, it expands internationally, the global PC market could be in a seismic shaking.
